I&C Engineer - Denmark, Copenhagen - 12 Month Initial Contract

Our client, a global CDMO in pharmaceutical manufacturing, is recruiting for a I&C Engineer to join their new and exciting large-scale CAPEX investment programme. With a mission to provide process development and cGMP production in cell culture, microbial fermentation, and gene therapies, this is an outstanding opportunity make a genuine contribution to the biopharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities include:
  • Identify, document, and follow up on punch items during site inspections and punch walks – primarily within electrical and instrumentation scopes
  • Redline (“red mark”) technical documentation and drawings to reflect as-built conditions and deviations
  • Prepare and maintain punch lists and ensure proper tracking and closure of issues
  • Review and update documentation in collaboration with subcontractors to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Verify that installations meet applicable Danish laws, regulations, and project specifications
  • Provide hands-on support and perform field inspections of electrical, instrumentation, and control installations
  • Act as a technical point of contact for the E&I team, helping to ensure quality and compliance on-site
Key requirements include:
  • Background as a marine engineer, electrical installer, electrician, or similar technical education
  • Technical knowledge within electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation
  • Good understanding of Danish rules and regulations relevant to electrical and control installations
  • Experience in the pharma, biotech, or process industry is a plus
  • Comfortable working on-site and identifying deviations or issues firsthand
  • Clear communicator with the ability to coordinate and follow up with contractors and suppliers
