Operational Readiness Program Manager - Ohio - 12-mont initial contract -  Life Sciences 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Operational Readiness Program Manager to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning and execution of operational readiness across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, engineering, IT, and EH&S functions.
  • Serve as the primary interface between capital project teams and operational functions to drive readiness milestones.
  • Develop, maintain, and own the integrated operational readiness schedule, ensuring alignment with construction, CQV, and project delivery timelines.
  • Identify and manage risks related to readiness activities; implement mitigation strategies to protect project critical paths.
  • Provide visibility and accountability through regular reporting, dashboards, and stakeholder updates.
  • Drive standardization and best practices across operational readiness workstreams.
  • Coordinate knowledge transfer, procedure development, training, and facility/equipment handover.
  • Support regulatory and quality inspection readiness planning and execution.

Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in capital project delivery, operations, or program management in a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in operational readiness leadership for large-scale pharmaceutical or biotechnology facilities.
  • PMP, CAPM, or other project management certification.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong understanding of GMP requirements and regulatory inspection processes.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with start-up of greenfield or brownfield facilities a plus.
