Engineering Team Lead - US, North Carolina - 20 Month Contract

Our client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing organization are looking for a talented Engineering Team Lead to join their expanding team. With continued organizational growth and considerable investment across their portfolio and capital programs this is an extremely exciting opportunity to contribute towards their brand-new manufacturing facility on the East Coast of the United States.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop automated reporting tools and data insights in Excel to enhance decision-making.
  • Conduct audits of engineering deliverables to ensure data integrity and promptly flag discrepancies.
  • Send daily notifications to system owners and managers regarding outstanding MCC signatures.
  • Lead weekly engineering stakeholder meetings to track and drive completion of action items.
  • Develop work flow diagrams in Microsoft Visio to improve process efficiency.
  • Prepare and deliver project presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update Project SharePoint sites to ensure accessibility of current project information.
  • Assist in authoring and reviewing project instructions, ensuring compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Support the review and development of Systems Lists, ensuring alignment with project drawings (P&IDs, AF&IDs, SLDs).
  • Retrieve project documentation upon request, providing stakeholders with necessary insights.
Requirements:
  • Reliable experience in Biopharmaceutical Projects or related industries.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and document control teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with strong experience OR Master’s degree experience.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with clients, EPCMs, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA knowledge preferred).
  • Skilled in additional tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
