Engineering Director - Stuttgart, Germany - 12-Month Contract 

We're representing a top-tier global pharmaceutical company situated in and around Germany. With significant capital investment and numerous ongoing projects, our client seeks a skilled Engineering Director to strengthen their team.


Role and responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the Engineering House contract and deliverables, including design, field engineering, budget, progress, and quality across the Capital Project
  • Ensures on-time project deliverables
  • Prepare and present project status and targets
  • Ensures deliverables meet all quality & compliance standards
  • Acts as escalation point to Engineering house
  • Responsible for Aligning expectations and agreeing workflows for deliverables within the field of engineering
  • Ensure correctness and fulfilment of Engineering List of Deliverables
  • Ensure delivery and implementation of solutions which fulfils requirements and expectations
  • Technical Scope management
  • Engineering Quality and Internal Reviews
  • Supports in dialogue between Engineering house and vendors from design stage to construction
  • Coordination with other functions in the project
  • Technical guidance and coordination as needed
  • Supports Engineering Systems

Requirements:
  • +10 years of experience on Major Capital Projects within the life sciences sector
  • Senior profile with proven project management and engineering management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Degree within Engineering or relevant discipline
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Independent decision-maker
  • Flexible and able to adjust strategies to changes in the environment.
  • Adopts means of communication and interaction that suit different cultures.
  • Strategic as and detail oriented
