Industrial Electrical/E&I SME - Pharmaceuticals - Brussels - 12-Month Contract 

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Electrical/E&I SME for a fantastic 12-Month contract based in Belgium.

Working with our client, a global biopharmaceutical organisation committed to improving the lives of people afflicted with neurological and immunological disease.

Responsibilities

  • Have knowledge/experience in the areas mentioned above in electricity
  • Manage or integrate the basics of project management and the different roles related to it (project leader, technical or security coordinator, expert in a discipline, etc.)
  • Be the link, integrate and federate our electricity activities within the Engineering department (collaboration), subcontracting and other technical departments
  • Ensure the management and operation of the tasks entrusted to him by the manager(s)
  • Monitor, manage and carry out technical tasks/interventions related to the operation of E&I systems on UCB Belgium sites as well as interventions from external partners
  • Ensure monitoring and coordination of work/interventions (priorities, deadlines, quality, safety, cleanliness, etc.) and monitoring of measures to be taken
  • Ensure mastery of techniques or similar in the context of the installation of new equipment or the modification of equipment in the areas listed above
  • Ensure and promote compliance with work and safety regulations (work permits, site monitoring, HSE remarks, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with GxP rules in your own tasks as well as those of external companies
  • Propose performance improvement concepts and provide innovative solutions with the aim of optimising/improving the impact of our technical activities
  • Participate in the development/drafting of technical engineering standards


Experience Required
  • 5 years minimum experience.
  • Good mastery of current techniques, experience in terms of work execution (daily management of a team).
  • Ability to manage the technical supervision of project activities in electricity (permissions, procedures, and standards).
  • Knowledge/experience in electricity: power and buildings.
  • Ability to handle the management and administration of the listed E&I activities within the scope of Engineering projects (deliverables).
  • Ability to be transparent.
  • Good communication.
  • Team spirit.
  • Experience in pharma nice to have.
  • English nice to have; FRENCH is a must have
