EHS Manager - Germany, Frankfurt - 18 Month Contract

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global pharmaceutical client based in the surroundings of Frankfurt. Due to a large capital investment and multiple projects on site, the client is looking for an EHS Manager  to join their team.

Responsibilities include:
  • Set up and run safety programs for a major construction project.
  • Make sure contractors follow safety rules and company standards.
  • Adapt global safety procedures to meet German laws and site needs.
  • Track safety performance and lead improvements.
  • Investigate incidents and help prevent future ones.
  • Train workers on safety expectations and site rules.
  • Work with local and global teams to keep safety a top priority.
Key requirements include:
  • A degree in engineering, safety, or a related field.
  • Requires extensive experience managing safety on large construction projects (€300M+).
  • Strong knowledge of German safety laws and construction practices.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Great communication and leadership skills.
  • Comfortable working on active construction sites.
