Located on the picturesque west coast of Ireland, our Global pharmaceutical client is looking for a E&I Engineer to join their state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facility. They have invested $55 billion in research to discover and develop new medicines in the pursuit of scientific breakthroughs and changing people’s lives. Responsibilities:
- To ensure that the site electrical systems are designed/maintained/upgraded in compliance with European electrical standards and ETCI rules and regulations.
- Provide leadership engineering support to all electrical related issues. Tasks include, daily trouble shooting, optimisation, cost reduction, training and coaching of electrical personnel.
- Lead all operations relating to maintaining the Electrical network throughout.
- Lead and coordinate the annual site Maintenance shutdown programme across the site, with key responsibility for all electrical systems on site.
- To keep up to date with latest technologies & updates to electrical standards to enhance the electrical network
- Act in the capacity to take responsibility and accountability for managing the team, equipment, and areas when delegated. Will engage fully with leading performance for the team metrics and driving the team forward to meet the site annual and strategic goals. Works towards motivating and positively improving the team culture with safety and quality in the forefront of all decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree: Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering OR National Craft Certificate in Electrical Engineering & Degree in Management
- 10 years plus of Experience as an Electrician
- The position requires proven problem-solving skills under the pressure. The position requires detailed evaluation of a number of viable solutions to each problem.
- Requires total commitment to quality and maintaining a high standard of work at all times.
- Demonstrates the highest levels of integrity and a strong work ethic at all times.
