CQV Engineer - Upstream - Pharmaceuticals - Seattle - 12-Month Contract 

Our client, a global biotechnology organisation, is recruiting for a CQV Engineer to join their capital project in the Seattle. This new build facility will house a therapeutic protein production plant, and we are looking for a CQV Engineer to help expand our client's biotech operations throughout the US. As the CQV Engineer you will be responsible for implementing all safety requirements for a new build facility.


Responsibilities:
  • CQV Upstream Engineer (Bioreactors, both seed and production, Media and Harvest), initially responsible for review of all Design deliverables from the company including Drawings, Datasheets, specifications and Engineering Lists.
  • Point CQV person for Vendor review for all Upstream Vendor Packages.
  • Assist CQV SME for all Upstream Systems.
  • Liaise with JE in relation to construction readiness and a schedule for all Upstream systems, perform and lead all field walkdowns for all Upstream systems.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience including experience with expansion projects.
  • Experience working with upstream systems (Bioreactors, both seed and production, Media and Harvest)
  • Experience with complex projects and working in or around operating facilities.
  • Experience within process equipment within the pharmaceutical / biotech industries
  • Ability to keep work pace and meet deadlines. Good organizing and planning skills.
