Construction SHE Advisor/Manager - Netherlands, Arnhem - 12 Month Contract

Our client is currently seeking the skills of a Construction SHE Advisor/Manager to join their team. Our client develops and delivers life changing medicines to millions of people globally and as part of their growth. With their Drug Substance (DS) manufacturing network growing rapidly, they are committed to growing their portfolio of commercial biologics products supplied worldwide – and this is your opportunity to be involved!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Provide Construction Health, Safety & Wellbeing (H, S &W) SME capabilities to support
  • Provide assurance and oversight on Client legal duties. 
  • Provide SME input into the development of the project specific procurement & execution strategy.
  • Lead construction H, S &W input through the RFP process (design and execution).
  • Ensure all contractors are correctly pre-qualified and that AZ only engages competent, safe contractors. Review third party supplier assessments and support escalations/closure of any identified gaps.
  • Onboard contractor management teams into the AZ H, S &W assurance programme and AZ values, ensuring commitment and alignment with all the supply chain.
  • Ensure contractors have adequate and competent H, S &W resources in place. Review CV’s and interview as required. 
Desirable Experience:
  • Construction background
  • Understanding of local governance
  • Strong Pharma/Bio experience
  • Ability to read and write in Dutch
  • Based full time on site
