Construction Manager -  Germany, Frankfurt - 12 Months Initial Contract

Are you a Construction Manager looking for your next role within Instrumentation and Controls? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our valued client in Frankfurt on an initial 12 month contract.

Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, Semi- Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high tech industries. This is your chance to join an innovative, market leading data centre company as their newest Construction Manager. Responsibilities:
  • Supervise installation of instrumentation and control systems for managing critical process variables (pressure, temperature, flow, humidity) in high-precision manufacturing environments.
  • Ensure quality and compliance with ISO standards and industry-specific requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors during construction phases.
  • Handle interface management between engineering, commissioning, and production teams.
  • Inspect and verify functionality, stability, and safety of measurement and control technology, focusing on process automation and optimisation.
  • Implement and validate control systems for automated production processes using DCS or PLC platforms.
  • Document construction progress and provide regular reporting.
  • Enforce compliance with EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) guidelines and technical regulations.
Requirements:
  • Completed technical education or training in electrical engineering, automation technology, I&C technology, or a related field.
  • Requires extensive experience in construction management or commissioning of I&C systems in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or process industries.
  • Basic knowledge of process automation, control technology, sensor systems, and signal processing.
  • Experience with visualisation software, PLC programming, or Distributed Control Systems (DCS) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, structured working style, and high problem-solving competence.
  • Proficiency in both German and English preferred
