Construction Manager - CSA - Germany - 18 Months Contract

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global pharmaceutical client based in Germany. Due to a large capital investment and multiple projects on site, the client is looking for a Construction Manager – CSA to join their team.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing and reviewing claims related to Civil, Structural, and Architectural construction activities from various suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ensuring compliance with contract terms, quality standards, schedules, and budgets within the CSA scope.
  • Applying technical knowledge of CSA construction to evaluate claim validity.
  • Overseeing contract management for CSA-related projects, ensuring adherence to delivery dates and supplier deliverables.
  • Contributing to the on boarding of new suppliers and subcontractors within the CSA field.
  • Ensuring all contract activities comply with safety regulations and environmental requirements.
  • Providing detailed reports to internal management and stakeholders on claim status, contract performance, and project progress within the CSA context.
  • Managing change control processes for supplier deliverables, including procurement actions, within the CSA project scope.
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to assess and implement changes.
Key requirements include:
  • Extensive experience in construction management and project delivery, with a strong focus on Civil, Structural, and Architectural projects.
  • Solid understanding of construction operations, work preparation, schedule control, and cost estimation within the CSA industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage subcontractors and project teams.
