CAD Designer Electricity - Belgium - 9 Months Contract

We are looking for an experienced CAD Designer Electricity for a fantastic 9 months contract based in Belgium.

You will be working with our client who are a global bio-pharmaceutical organisation committed to improving the lives of people afflicted with neurological and immunological disease.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and update drawings in accordance with requirements.
  • Realise drawings from basic design to as built phase for all the projects for which he’s responsible.
  • Use his experience to improve, challenge the project team proposals.
  • Check and integrates drawings from partner.
  • Support and advise partner in any CAD aspect.
  • Participate, as required, to the conception and realisation of buildings and other facilities thanks to his experience.
  • Managing CAD projects from start to finish autonomously in support to the project manager.
  • Manage CAD data (integration from partner, transfer to partner, etc.)
  • Train and support new colleagues from CAD department with standards, methodology, software.
  • Realise “on site“ measurements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in relevant field
  • Extensive Experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Electrical CAD software “Eplan” and “Elec calc”.
  • Knowledge of “Micro station”, “Open building”, “Autocad”, “Revit” or equivalent BIM software is a great plus.
  • Able to generate drawings from sketches, specifications and field measurements.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, plan and manage time effectively while remaining flexible.
  • Excellent communication skills: interpersonal, listening, oral and written expression within the team, departments and with different stakeholders.
  • Initiative, autonomy and pro-activity.
  • Ability to use a computer and associated software including Microsoft Office, Teams and SharePoint etc.
  • Complete command of French (oral and written).
  • Sufficient level of English to be able to discuss and understand stakeholders (both orally and in writing).
