BMS Engineer - Data Centre Contraction - Amsterdam - 12-Month Contract 

We are currently working with a leading project management consultancy in the data centre sector.

They are currently seeking a BMS Engineer (Building Management Systems Engineer) to work on Data Centre projects in Amsterdam. The desired candidate will have previously worked on complex large scale construction projects in a BMS function and will be confident representing the client directly.


What You’ll Do
  • Represent the client in a BMS function
  • Oversee commissioning activities on of BMS systems
  • Review design for BMS systems, provide comments and troubleshoot on behalf of the client
  • Ensure health and safety is met on site
  • Communicate and work well with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Complete all relevant documentation on behalf of the client
  • Supervise contractors and subcontractors where required
  • Highlight potential maintenance and upgrades required on site
  • Provide technical knowledge and insight into BMS Systems to ensure clients standards are met
  • Provide input on BMS control strategy design, engineering and commissioning of BMS systems.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of system integration
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance design development cycles, specifications, and processes.
  • Manage the design development, ensuring it is suitable for each client, industry standards and best practices.

Requirements
  • Previous experience working on BMS systems including controls for HVAC, lighting, cctv, security, access, and other controlled systems on complex projects e.g. data centres, pharma, oil & gas, FMCG.  
  • Project management experience favourable
  • Dutch Language skills – professional working proficiency required  
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
