Black Utilities Engineer - Pharmaceuticals - 12-Month Contract 

Are you a Black Utilities Engineer looking for your next contract opportunity in Denmark? Quanta has the role for you!

Our client specialises in delivering pharma engineering solutions to the Danish pharmaceutical market. Contributing to over 1,300 engineering projects for their customers every year, they are experts in planning and establishing new pharma facilities, including upgrading, expanding, and supporting existing operations. As their impressive portfolio continues to grow, they are looking for a talented Black Utilities Engineer to support the success of their latest large scale capital investment project.


Responsibilities:
  • Generate the items from the MOC
  • Develop the 5 P&IDs according to the P&ID steps
  • Coordinate with electrical regarding electrical panel placement
  • Develop the procurement package
  • Find vendors for package
  • Make the package specific documents for tender (TTS, SDDC, TDL, Responsibility Matrix, and so on)
  • Make the full tender package
  • Get disciplines and costumer to review
  • Update tender package according to comments – final conclusion
  • Tender out to agreed vendors
  • Drive the package with vendor from PO award to hand-over
 

Requirements:
  • Technical insight and knowledge of vacuum systems.
  • Bachelor of Engineering or Science Degree in Engineering or Technology related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role in Utilities systems within Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry
  • Technical knowledge of black utilities systems and equipment, biotechnology processes and a working knowledge of FDA and EU regulations
  • Specifically, previous experience of black utilities design, specification, installation and qualification
  • Previous experience as a Work package owner
  • Previous full life cycle project experience to hand over, engaging with stakeholders, user groups, procurement, and suppliers
