PCS 7 Automation Engineer - North of England, UK - 6-Month Contract 

Our client is a global CDMO in pharmaceutical manufacturing providing process development and cGMP production in cell culture, microbial fermentation, and gene therapies.
With continued organisational growth and a considerable amount of investment across the portfolio and capital programme.

They have an extremely exciting opportunity for a Delta V Automation Project Lead to form support a new large scale manufacturing facility being built in the UK.


Responsibilities:
  • Writing, reviewing and Approving PCS7 Hardware Design Specifications for standard and customised bioprocessing systems.
  • Writing, reviewing and executing PCS7 software test plans and test protocols for standard and customised bioprocessing systems.
  • Setting up virtual and lab-based test environments, ready for test execution.
  • Raising discrepancies and closing out test documentation.

Requirements:
  • Experience in other forms of software testing is advantageous, including Computer Systems Validation (CSV) experience.
  • Experience working within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify and document defects in complex software features.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of adhering to strict deadlines.
