EHS Specialist - Onsite position - Carlow - 11-Months 

With worldwide demand for their life-changing oncology treatment increasing; one of our global pharmaceutical clients is looking for a EHS Specialist to join their team to support multiple capital projects taking place onsite in Carlow.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a state-of-the art fill-finish facility and the company’s first stand-alone vaccine and biologics plant outside the US. 


Role Summary:
  • Develop and implement EHS programs to ensure compliance with local legislation, standards, and industry best practices. 
  • Prepare reports to site, divisional and/or corporate management and regulatory agencies.
  • Evaluate all EHS applicable requirements for any new projects and processes (along with other site departments where necessary) as well as changes in the existing processes and installation. 

Requirements:
  • Technical bachelor’s degree in environmental health & safety or Technical Bachelor’s Degree (Science/Engineering). 
  • Ideally 3+ years’ EHS experience in Pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industry. 
  • Proven track record of success in the environmental health and safety sector.
