Quanta provide specialist Contract and Permanent recruitment services to clients within the Life Sciences, Renewable Energy and Data IT industry sectors across the EMEA, Americas and APAC regions. We employ +75 staff at our headquarters based in Berkhamsted, in addition to this we will be opening an office in the US in 2022 with further growth potential in the coming years.

Nature of Work

The fundamental purpose of this important role is to provide essential support to all areas of the business.  As a member of the Business Solutions team the Administrative Assistant will need to schedule their primary responsibilities whilst supporting the reactive nature of the team.

Personal involvement with all staff, contractors, candidates, clients and prospective clients will occur on a daily basis.  Interfacing, co-ordinating and filling the requests of these interactions in a prompt and effective manner will define success in this role.

Previous experience in an administrative role, attention to detail, strong organisational and communication skills, rapport building, enthusiasm to deliver a quality service and a professional demeanour are a pre-requisite for this role.

Principle Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Switchboard calls
• Processing and formatting of CV's for the Sales Floor
• Management of Welcome Packs for Contractors
• Mailbox monitoring
• Meeting Room Management
• Welcoming Guests
• Managing the Post
• Filing and Photocopying
• Stationary
• Consumables
• Business Trips

At Quanta we have a 2 stage interview process, the first interview will be more of a conversation where we can both get to know each other. If you are invited for a second stage interview we’ll ask you to present a short 5-10 minute presentation.
