Process SME - Ireland, Dublin - 12 Months Initial Contract

Our client, a global organisation within the pharmaceutical industry, needs a Process SME to join their large-scale CAPEX project based near Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional in the life sciences sector to advancing their career within a globally recognised pharmaceutical environment.

What you’ll do:

• Understand the business objectives, project scope, schedule, and critical success factors.
• Understand and engage all project stakeholders relevant to the SME role.
• Participate in the capital project team during basic and detailed design phases, including involvement in equipment procurement.
• Assess equipment needs and support the creation of equipment URS and technical specifications for design or purchase.
• Understand your full project remit, including scope of work and interfaces with other SMEs and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure all requirements are clearly documented and agreed upon with project stakeholders.

What you’ll need:

• Experience with peptides and oligonucleotides
• Extensive relevant capital project experience, with strong technical and execution exposure on major capital investments—ideally within the pharmaceutical or biotech sector.
• Able to set the technical direction and have overall accountability for the entire scope of work from initial concept through to successful operation
• Strong track record collaborating with design contractors and equipment suppliers on large-scale, complex projects, ensuring alignment, quality, and timely delivery across multidisciplinary teams.
