Electrical Technician - US, North Carolina - 12 Month Contract

Our client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing organization are looking for a talented Electrical Technician to join their expanding team. With continued organizational growth and considerable investment across their portfolio and capital programs this is an extremely exciting opportunity to contribute towards their brand-new manufacturing facility on the East Coast of the United States.

What you'll do:

• Assist with startup of all electrical gear to include Low and Medium Voltage switchgear, motor control center (MCCs), power distribution panel (PDPs), uninterruptible power supply (UPS), electrical panels, and end point equipment.
• Supports system walkdowns which interface with Electrical systems.
• Performs electrical maintenance activities in support of daily operation of the site such as conducting preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for all electrical systems.
• Assists with maintenance activities for switchgear (Low and Medium voltage), MCCs, PDPs, UPS systems, switchboards, power panels, and variable frequency drives (VFDs) and motors.

What you'll need:

• Ability to read and interpret design schematics for electrical systems & equipment.
• Effective communication, both written and oral.
• Willingness to collaborate and demonstrate interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to support 24/7 manufacturing facility, including shift, on-call and weekends.
