Process Maintenance Technician - US, North Carolina - 12 Month ContractOur client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing organization are looking for a talented Process Maintenance Technician to join their expanding team. With continued organizational growth and considerable investment across their portfolio and capital programs this is an extremely exciting opportunity to contribute towards their brand-new manufacturing facility on the East Coast of the United States.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on process equipment, such as bioreactors, centrifuges, ultrafiltration skids, parts washers, autoclaves, isolators, and fillers
- Provide recommendations to develop preventative maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime
- Contribute to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) development and revisions for process maintenance related activities
- Diagnose and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with safety and Good
- Manufacturing Practices (GMP) quality standards
- Adhere to all safety requirements and follows safe work practices
- Notifies management or Environmental, Health & Safety when unsafe conditions or hazards are found
- Attend all required safety and health training
- Support site operations and emergency work orders during off-hours, as needed
- Perform spare parts assessments, as required
- Other duties, as assigned
Requirements:
- Extensive mechanical maintenance experience
- Hands-on work with:CIP (Clean-in-Place) systems, Bioreactors and Centrifuges
- Must have heavy maintenance exposure.
- Experience with isolators, filling machines, and robotics
