Lead Piping Designer

Lead Piping Designer – Copenhagen, Denmark – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, are looking for a Lead Piping Designer to support the delivery their project based in Copenhagen. The company has grown to become a world leader in the development, manufacture and marketing of innovative pharmaceutical products to alleviate some of the world’s biggest health problems.

What you’ll deliver:

• Review piping design deliverables from EPCM contractors.
• Verify piping layouts, routing and design concepts.
• Ensure alignment with project requirements and standards.
• Review and comment on Plant 3D and SP3D models.
• Participate in model reviews and design coordination meetings.

Experience required:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Background in piping design, piping engineering, plant layout, or process design within pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, or industrial facilities.
• Experience coordinating and reviewing 3D piping models, equipment layouts, and utility routing.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring piping,  mechanical, process, electrical, and automation designs are fully integrated.
