Design Verification Lead - US, Ohio - 12 Month Contract

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Design Verification Lead to join the team and help deliver this world-class program.

What you’ll do:

• Represent the owner’s team as the Design Verification Lead for assigned utility, tank farm, and central corridor systems during the detailed design phase of the project.
• Coordinate and oversee all detailed design activities to support the Program Design Verification Lead and Project Manager, ensuring alignment between engineering disciplines, system owners, and design contractors.
• Review and verify detailed design deliverables, including Issued for Construction (IFC) packages, P&IDs, specifications, layouts, equipment packages, utility designs, and engineering calculations.
• Accountable for ensuring design quality, technical accuracy, and schedule adherence across assigned systems and workstreams.

What you’ll need:

• Extensive engineering/design experience supporting large-scale pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, chemical, or regulated manufacturing capital projects.
• Strong experience supporting detailed design and design verification activities within GMP manufacturing environments.
• Experience working with EPCM firms, design contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on major capital projects.
• Proven experience supporting utility systems, central utility plants, process support infrastructure, or tank farm systems within pharmaceutical or industrial facilities.
