Web Admin Linux - Data Centres - Contract - Valencia/Remote 

Our client, an international IT service provider, is seeking Web Admin Linux to join them as a contractor, with the option to work fully remote or onsite within the charming region of Valencia. Starting at an initial 6 month contract, multiple extensions are expected and there is great, long-term potential.

Responsibilities:
The resource shall support the Unified Web Hosting Team, on projects or ongoing support services, as per arising needs.

Requirements: 
  • Prior experience in System Administration and Linux operating system.
  • Knowledge of Open-Source Web Servers like Nginx or Apache.
  • Experience with versioning systems (git).
  • Ability to understand and write code in some scripting language: Bash, Python, PHP, etc.
  • Cloud-Based services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • CMSs: WordPress, Drupal, Moodle, Liferay.
  • Databases: MariaDB/MySQL, Postgres.
  • Load-balancing and proxy technologies including CDNs.
  • Containers: Docker, Kubernetes.
