Washing & Sterilisation SME - Belgium, Brussels - 6 Month Initial Contract

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, are looking for a Washing & Sterilisation SME to join their team. The company has grown to become a world leader in the development, manufacture, and marketing of innovative pharmaceutical products to alleviate some of the world’s biggest health problems.

What you'll do:
  • Selection and sizing of utensil washer(s), COP/SOP with CIP, and autoclaves; cycle concepts, load maps, and turnover times.
  • CIP/SIP boundaries, recipe philosophy, and rinse qualities (PW/WFI); segregation of dirty/clean flows and zoning to protect Grade A/B.
  • Utility connections (clean steam, WFI/PW, compressed air), condensate handling, heat‑load inputs to utilities and HVAC.
  • Transfer strategy to filling/isolators; interlocking and material handling interfaces.
  • URS for autoclaves, utensil washer, and COP/SOP/CIP systems
  • PFDs/P&IDs and equipment list; space/access envelopes
  • Utility load list and tie‑in matrix
  • Cleaning & sterilisation strategy incl. campaign and bottleneck analysis
  • Inputs to RDS (finishes, drainage, air changes, pressure cascades)
What you'll need:
  • Requires extensive experience
  • Aseptic processing with washer/autoclave cycle development and qualification planning
  • Demonstrated reduction of turnaround time without compromising sterility assurance
  • Zero late changes at execution due to missing cycle/load assumptions
