Technical Support Specialsit - Permanent - London

Permanent opportunity for a Technical Support specialist to join an international organisation in the Data Centre environment. Working onsite in London Victoria (5 days a week), you will provide all-round IT support, monitoring and maintenance primarily within the Microsoft stack but also other tools.

The client is actively looking to onboard someone, and they will run a quick 3 stage interview process that can be completed within 1-2 weeks. This will include a short Teams call, one full interview and a psychometric test.

As the Technology Engineer you will:

• ensure that reactive and pre-emptive IT support actions are carried out competently, professionally and in a timely manner following the direction of the Group IT Manager.
• respond to issues ranging from "my computer doesn’t work" to arranging firewalls and rollouts.
• be responsible for the proactive monitoring, maintenance and support/escalation of incoming IT support requests either by email, phone or internal ticketing system.
• liaise with site-based IT contacts, including training and advising where necessary to ensure sites are fully informed and consistent.
• develop support documentation where required to improve the user experience.

You will have:

• IT support experience especially within the Microsoft stack domain (O365, Exchange, Sharepoint, SQL Server, Azure...) and a sound general knowledge of computer systems and software.
• excellent communication skills and the ability to work and liaise with various stakeholders of different levels.
• Degree level or relevant experience in IT.
• Proven experience an interest in IT desktop and network functionality and support.
• Good time management skills with the ability to work autonomously, get the job done and report back accordingly to Team Leadership.
• an excellent level of customer care.
• ability to work onsite full time, Monday to Friday, in Victoria, London
• Datacentre experience is a bonus.
