Data-center Logistics Specialist - Missouri , Kansas City - Permanent Contract

QCS staffing are partnered with one of the world’s top AI infrastructure companies. As an organization, our client are leading a new era in cloud computing to serve the global AI economy. They create the tools and resources for their customers requirement to solve real-world challenges and transform industries, without massive infrastructure costs or the need to build large in-house AI/ML teams.

To support our client’s continued growth, they are currently looking to hire a Data-center Logistics Specialist in Kansas City.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Working with inbound and outbound shipments
  • Participating in cyclical and annual warehouse inventory checks
  • Testing of server drives and memory modules
  • Creating items in the inventory system for all received equipment
  • Providing equipment for data center operation engineers
  • Communicate with a customs brokers and delivery companies
  • External warehouses management
Requirements:
  • Experience in warehouse logistics or a related field
  • Familiarity with IT equipment (servers, network equipment, etc.) and testing procedures
  • Understanding of inventory management processes
  • Ability to travel for business needs
  • Strong attention to details and organizational skills
