Sourcing Expert - Renewable Energies - Antwerp - 12-Month Contract

Responsibilities: 
  • Execute sourcing projects and or provides support to strategic sourcing projects. Activities will focus on data management and supplier management.
  • Work collaboratively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify and execute continuous cost, process and service improvements
  • Assist in the reporting of category-specific savings results to internal stakeholders
  • Executes small to medium size sourcing projects in the SAP Ariba system and or provides support to the contracting process.
  • Functional support in small to complex negotiations.
  • Support problem-solving and issue-resolution efforts to support internal customer satisfaction.
  • Develop solid working relationships with internal customer stakeholders at both the corporate and business unit levels
  • Interface with internal customer stakeholders and project teams to facilitate progress.
Requirements: 
  • Postgraduate degree preferred.
  • Profound knowledge of procurement and sourcing processes
  • Experience with SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing, eSourcing and eAuction, Contract tool, Tactical Sourcing
  • Experience working with customers and suppliers.
  • Understand Umicore’s business needs and objectives in order to develop optimal eSourcing (incl. eAuction) strategy.
  • Lead and facilitate supplier onboarding and training for eSourcing (incl. eAuction).
  • Design and develop relevant eSourcing (incl. eAuction) structure using eSourcing tools SAP Ariba
