Senior Payroll Specialist – Dublin – Pharmaceuticals – Contract – Up to €50/hour

QCS Staffing are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to join an important Biopharmaceutical partner, based in Dublin. This is initially a 6-month contract, with responsibility for supervising payroll operations.

This is a hybrid contract, 3 days per week on site.

As a Senior Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for:
  • Oversees the effective functioning of the local Payroll Team.
  • Organises workloads to cope with peak processing requirements
  • Distributes workload to team members, including regular review of payroll allocations.
  • Ensures compliance with Processes and Legislation
  • Works to minimise financial loss for the business through effective and timely processing.
  • Maintains Payroll Accuracy in line with agreed Key performance Indicators
  • Provide Support and Input on Payroll Related Projects
  • Assist with audits and finance queries
To be successful as a Senior Payroll Specialist you will need to have:
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Strong understanding of insurance and taxation schemes.
  • Experience working in a large organisation.
  • Proficiency in payroll processing software (e.g., ADP, Workday).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and employees.
