QCS Staffing are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to join an important Biopharmaceutical partner, based in Dublin. This is initially a 6-month contract, with responsibility for supervising payroll operations.
This is a hybrid contract, 3 days per week on site.
As a Senior Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for:
- Oversees the effective functioning of the local Payroll Team.
- Organises workloads to cope with peak processing requirements
- Distributes workload to team members, including regular review of payroll allocations.
- Ensures compliance with Processes and Legislation
- Works to minimise financial loss for the business through effective and timely processing.
- Maintains Payroll Accuracy in line with agreed Key performance Indicators
- Provide Support and Input on Payroll Related Projects
- Assist with audits and finance queries
- Educated to degree level.
- Strong understanding of insurance and taxation schemes.
- Experience working in a large organisation.
- Proficiency in payroll processing software (e.g., ADP, Workday).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and employees.
