Our client is currently seeking the skills of Construction Manager to join their team. Our client develops and delivers life changing medicines to millions of people globally and as part of their growth. With their Drug Substance (DS) manufacturing network growing rapidly, they are committed to growing their portfolio of commercial biologics products supplied worldwide – and this is your opportunity to be involved!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead on-site construction and installation activities across civil, mechanical, electrical, and process equipment scopes.
- Manage project execution plans and schedules to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee construction interfaces, site logistics, and material handling strategies.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and national construction safety regulations and client.
- Act as a primary liaison between contractors, engineering partners, and site operations teams.
- Review and approve Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
- Support commissioning and mechanical completion (MC) walk-downs, including punch list management and turnover documentation.
- Coordinate with digital delivery and BIM teams to ensure accurate installation and quality records.
- Manage technical submissions, RFIs, and as-built documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- In depth knowledge of Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Extensive construction management experience, preferably within pharmaceutical or regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, and local construction regulations.
- Experience managing construction activities for clean rooms, process systems, HVAC, and utility installations.
- Proficient with MS Office and construction project management software.
- Experience with digital quality management tools (BIM 360, Asite Field, Navisworks, SharePoint, etc.).
- Strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed and work on-site 3-5 days per week.
