Contracts Admin - France, Caen - 12 Month Contract 

Do you want to work at a leading global pharmaceutical manufacturer? If so, this is the assignment for you!

Our global client with manufacturing facilities in Southern Ireland, is currently investing significantly in their manufacturing programme. This state-of-the-art facility houses high-technology and next-generation processes to produce OTC and Oral Care Products that are distributed throughout the Globe. As such, they are looking for an Contracts Admin to join their France based project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Draft, review, and administer contracts for construction, engineering, and technical services.
  • Ensure timely execution of contracts and maintain accurate records throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Work closely with the project management team to align contract deliverables with project milestones.
  • Support the procurement process for long-lead equipment and specialised services.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with French Law, EU directives, and pharmaceutical industry regulations (e.g., GMP, EMA).
  • Identify contractual risks and support mitigation strategies.
  • Serve as the point of contact for contractors and suppliers regarding contractual matters.
  • Monitor contractor performance and manage change orders, claims, and disputes.
  • Maintain contract databases and prepare regular reports on contract status, KPIs, and compliance.
  • Support audits and inspections by providing accurate and timely documentation.
Desirable Experience:
  • B.Sc. /B.Eng. degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Studies, Engineering discipline. Or sufficient relative experience.
  • Extensive experience of large-scale multi-discipline projects of complex technical nature.
  • Must have experience of EPMC type projects.
  • Extensive experience within construction projects in a QS/Contracts Admin function
  • Ability to successfully manage French contracts and ensure the construction contract is successfully managed/delivered, raise any relevant deviations etc.
  • Must be French speaking
  • Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative and proactively respond to business needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Pharma / Bio experience would be an advantage. / Can be from Any background – Oil & Gas, Data Centre, Renewables, Nuclear. Ideally somewhere budgets are strict.
