EHS Coordinator - Copenhagen - 12 Month Contract 

Our client, a global CDMO in pharmaceutical manufacturing, is recruiting for a EHS coordinator  to join their new and exciting large-scale CAPEX investment programme. With a mission to provide process development and cGMP production in cell culture, microbial fermentation, and gene therapies, this is an outstanding opportunity make a genuine contribution to the biopharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities include:
  • To lead and drive the EHS team for the project finalizing Construction and into Commissioning and qualification
  • Be a part of the client’s team and represent client in all matters overseeing and liaising with the Engineering Providers/General Contractors.
  • Responsible for Process Safety  - mainly with the commissioning phase of the project. 
  • Be the EHS part of the Project leadership team
  • Engaging with the Remainder of the project to find safe yet effective solutions.
  • Regular frequent dialogues with the site head of EHS
  • Review specifications with respect to EHS matters & regulations in collaboration with the designated CE role.
Key requirements include:
  • Extensive EHS experience.
  • EHS experience through the delivery of a large scale project.
  • Ideally have knowledge and experience in the use of Denmark WEA (Working Environment Agency) regulations and interpretations.
  • Strong EHS and leadership experience from large projects involving construction and commissioning.
  • Good communication skills with both on the contractor on the ground, leadership team and the steering committee
  • Strong collaboration understanding
  • Ability to see and drive development of solutions within EHS (Permits, LOTO, induction etc.)
  • Ability to navigate and act in complex and political environments
