Senior Construction Lead - Austria, Vienna - 12 Month Contract

Are you a Senior Construction Lead looking for your next contract role? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our valued client in Vienna on an initial 12 month contract.

Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, Semi- Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high tech industries. This is your chance to join an innovative, market leading data centre company as their newest Senior Construction Lead. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring smooth coordination between subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with Austrian regulations.
  • Lead and mentor site teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between site operations and project stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present progress reports and documentation.
  • Coordinate and manage both CSA & MEP Construction Managers
  • Build and foster strong working relationships with client and subcontractors
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects, ideally in data centres or industrial sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of Austrian building codes and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English; German proficiency is a plus.
  • Willingness to be site-based in Vienna.
