Risk Management Lead

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Risk Management Lead to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
What you'll do:
- Develop, maintain, and manage the project risk register in alignment with owner governance requirements.
- Facilitate regular risk identification and mitigation workshops with engineering, procurement, construction, and project controls teams.
- Quantify risks through probabilistic analysis (cost and schedule) using industry-standard tools (e.g., @Risk,Primavera Risk Analysis).
- Support the development of contingency and management reserve recommendations.
- Prepare monthly risk reports, highlighting top risks, trends, and mitigation progress.
- Collaborate with estimating, scheduling, procurement, and change management to align risk data with cost and schedule forecasts.
- Ensure lessons learned and risk intelligence are documented and communicated across the program.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
- Extensive experience in risk management on large CAPEX projects.
- Background in pharmaceutical, biotech, semiconductor, or industrial manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Primavera Risk Analysis, @Risk, Monte Carlo simulation tools.
- Strong facilitation and reporting skills.
