Reliability Engineer - Ohio - 12 Months with planned extensions 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Reliability Engineer to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and support the implementation of facility management best practices to ensure optimal operations.
  • Work closely with campus security teams to integrate security measures with facility operations.
  • Ensure compliance with facility management standards and regulatory guidelines related to safety and environmental policies.
  • Develop and oversee programs for the proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials.
  • Ensure waste management practices align with environmental regulations and corporate sustainability goals.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance waste reduction strategies.
  • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to maintenance teams, ensuring the adoption of industry best practices.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training programs for maintenance personnel.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and methodologies to enhance operational reliability.
Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent work experience.
  • Extensive experience in maintenance and reliability engineering within industrial or pharmaceutical environments.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance best practices, including predictive and preventive maintenance, failure mode analysis (FMEA), and asset management strategies.
  • Experience in facility management and security operations within a regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of waste handling regulations and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating operational risks.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate across departments and mentor junior engineers.
  • Willingness to work 3 days per week on-site or 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule.
  • Certification in Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), or equivalent.
