Quality Manager - Italy, Lucca - 8 Months Initial Contract 

QCS are partnered with a leading international packaging company and supporting them with staffing solutions across their CAPEX projects in EMEA. As an organisation, our client is redefining packaging for a changing world and plan to become the leading supplier of sustainable packaging solutions. We are looking for a Quality Manager on an initial 8 month contract (with likely extension to 12 months) for our client’s project based in Lucca.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the project-specific Quality Management Plan
  • Monitor and audit construction and installation works to ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve quality issues
  • Conduct inspections and testing of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Maintain detailed records of quality assurance activities and produce regular reports
  • Support commissioning and handover processes with a focus on quality compliance
Requirements:
  • Fluency in English & Italian as well as significant experience on Italian construction projects
  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in quality management on large industrial or manufacturing construction projects.
  • Familiarity with European construction standards and regulations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness to be site-based in Lucca for the duration of the project
