PTO Software Lead Engineer - US, Ohio - 12 Months Initial Contract

This is a fantastic opportunity for a PTO Software Lead Engineer to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.

What you'll do:
  • Technical oversight of a project within the project program
  • Working closely with the Project Technical Team to ensure the automation solution is aligned with the overall program automation philosophy and standards
  • Collaborate with their Digital/MES workstream counterpart leads to align the automation and digital solutions
  • Provide technical support/oversight to the project team to ensure that applicable standards are followed
  • Ensure consistency of the automation deliverables (requirements, functional specifications, control strategies, phases, and recipes, etc.)
What you'll need:
  • BS Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Extensive working Automation experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry (preferable in API/drug substance manufacturing)
  • Previous experience in the delivery of large Automation Projects in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Requires extensive experience in DeltaV Batch DCS
  • Strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs
  • Preferable, previous experience with Aveva PI
  • Exceptional teamwork abilities
