Project Procurement Consultant - Germany, Frankfurt - 18 Months Initial Contract

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global pharmaceutical client based in the surroundings of Frankfurt. Due to a large capital investment and multiple projects on site, the client is looking for a Project Procurement Consultant to join their team.

Responsibilities include:
  • Serve as a dedicated procurement consultant for a workstream lead.
  • Manage complex procurement packages, including interior fit-out and equipment, with values of $100 million and upwards.
  • Manage major contracts and negotiate with suppliers, with a focus on global sourcing initiatives and cost reduction.
  • Provide technical and commercial expertise across various industries such as pharma, energy, and construction.
  • Ensure alignment with the EPCM partner throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Handle hands-on procurement tasks to support project execution.
Key requirements include:
  • Requires extensive experience in a project procurement function.
  • Proven experience with capital expenditure (CapEx) projects.
  • Extensive experience with construction projects.
  • Skilled in managing complex packages according to project schedules.
  • Adept at reporting to senior stakeholders and project leadership.
