Project Planner - Brussels, Belgium - 7 Months Contract

We are looking for an experienced Project Planner for a fantastic contract based in Brussels.

You will be working with our client who are a global biopharmaceutical organisation committed to improving the lives of people afflicted with neurological and immunological disease.

Responsibilities:
  • Tasked with the planning phase, you will be responsible for keeping that plan on tracks, and those specific project plans stay on track throughout the entire Genesis project lifecycle (help to prevent diversions).
  • Focus solely on project planning, dedicated to planning and monitoring multiple projects from beginning to end.
  • Monitor the planning initiation, project planning, link with internal and external partners on progress/ risk and issue.
  • Manage planning session with partners and assess long term planning strategy.
  • Assess the project critical path, the risk associated with each critical task and propose the potential mitigation options.
  • Make sure that project action is done according to schedule, the staff is doing their job per timeframe, to provide action/decision tracking follow-up and KPI generation.
  • Set-up and update a director (‘high level’) planning for communication to the management and to the team
  • Leverage detail plannings from key partners and consolidate them in an integrated master planning
Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in a relevant field, Engineering etc
  • Extensive experience working in Capex project environment
  • Extensive experience as project planning/coordination in Pharma Industry required
  • Excellent time-management, planning and organisational skills to ensure effective and timely output in an independent way, sense of synthesis
  • Excellent communication skills (writing + editing) and effective working relationship internally and with the external stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills to allow identifying potential issue and develop associated solution.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in interdisciplinary and multinational teams
