Project Manager - Construction/ SWAT /Handover - Biopharma

New Build Biologicalplant has an URGENT requirement for an experienced Project Manager / SWAT Team Lead to drive the new build construction project on site.

You will be managing a multidisciplinary team - Mechanical, Electrical, Process, CQV including design, procurement and  installation/construction.

We are looking for a highly motivated, structured, and experienced Manager in Biologics facilities to lead a group of contractors across multiple trades to facilitate and execute post construction modification works in a small-scale drug substance facility that is in the process of achieving construction completion, in support to the startup and CQV teams.

Most of the required works will be executed in a fast-paced environment to support the project timelines.

working with Director of Capital Projects in the development of the “SWAT (rapid response) TEAM” and work orders request and develop templates and tools to facilitate the “Works Request” Process.


Skills & experience:

• Project Management/Engineering degree + 10 years expeirence
• Eexperience as package owner in capital projects within the biopharmaceutical sector
• Experienced in leading contractor teams, and supervising construction activities
• Experience developing and implementing processes in a construction field; including scoping, budgeting, execution supervision.
• Experience in cGMP biopharmaceutical regulated environment including technical understanding of GMP dedicated utilities systems
• Experienced in the construction of biologic’s manufacturing facilities, including utility systems, such as HVAC, WFI, pure steam, clean compressed air, process gases, chilled water, boilers, and wastewater treatment and classified clean rooms. Offices and Laboratories exposure also desirable
• Able to drive the project across the line working closely with building teams including
• Operational engineering experience and knowledge of building systems including mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP), HVAC, fire/life safety, and waste management.
