This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in North Carolina, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
Responsibilities:
- Define and formalize project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Manage procurement and vendor coordination for necessary equipment and materials.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to align project execution with site requirements.
- Ensure compliance with industry, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop project plans and secure funding.
- Work alongside site personnel and external partners to support project execution.
- Develop detailed execution plans, ensuring alignment with operational and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee pre-planning and preparatory activities before project implementation.
- Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring financial and timeline adherence.
- Provide regular updates and reporting on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between internal teams and external vendors.
- Monitor and track project progress, identifying and resolving potential roadblocks.
- Support overall capital project management efforts to maintain project momentum and successful execution.
- Project management experience in capital projects
- Strong understanding of procurement and vendor coordination
- Experience managing budgets and schedules for large-scale projects
- Knowledge of industry, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
- Ability to collaborate with design and engineering teams
- Experience in securing project funding and resource planning
- Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills
- Expertise in developing and executing detailed project plans
- Ability to oversee pre-planning and preparatory activities
- Risk management and problem-solving skills
- Experience monitoring project progress and resolving roadblocks
