Project Manager - Manchester - 12-Month Contract 

Would you like to work for an established global pharmaceutical organisation investing heavily in CapEx in Northern Europe? If yes, then this is the assignment for you!

Our client with manufacturing facilities in Northern UK, is currently investing significantly in their manufacturing programme.  This state-of-the-art facility houses high-technology and next-gen processes to produce drugs that are distributed throughout the Globe. The site is easily reachable by Road, Rail and Air and has excellent transport links throughout.

The client is currently seeking the expertise of a Project Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and Sponsor to ensure the technical scopes are aligned with Business and project needs.
  • Evaluate in partnership the technical competence of design contractors and proposed external team member qualifications and engage with the Project Manager in their selection.
  • Agree the technical resource requirements with the Project Manager, and secure the services of Subject Matter Experts, in consultation with the appropriate Heads in Global Engineering, along with support from other Global technical functions as required or local site technical support.
  • Work cross-functionally across the project to deliver a holistic, integrated, compliant process design, influencing stakeholders as needed and highlighting any impact of decisions on budget and schedule.
  • Ensure relevant standards (methodologies, tools, concepts, specifications, guidelines and technical solutions) are applied.

Requirements:
  • Background in delivery of CAPEX upgrade projects
  • Experience working with internal teams.
  • Experience of coaching of SME’s, action tracking, technical leadership
  • Project value experience range $20-40M
  • Preferred experience within a GMP environments
