This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Louisiana, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the full scope of central utilities, warehousing, and tank farm infrastructure.
- Lead the transition from basic design into field execution, ensuring readiness for construction.
- Develop and oversee detailed construction plans, with execution targeted for mid to late next year.
- Coordinate with design teams to ensure alignment with project requirements and timelines.
- Review and validate engineering deliverables for constructability and compliance.
- Manage early construction activities, particularly for warehousing, which is prioritized for early completion.
- Oversee contractors and vendors to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth execution.
- Provide regular updates and reports to leadership on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Proven track record managing large-scale infrastructure projects (several hundred million USD+).
- Strong background in central utilities, warehousing, and tank farm construction.
- Experience in life sciences or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
- Ability to lead across design and construction phases with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
