Project Manager (CAPEX) - Pharma Engineering - Copenhagen - 12-Month Contract 

Are you a Project Manager looking for your next contract opportunity in Denmark? Quanta has the role for you!

Our client specialises in delivering pharma engineering solutions to the Danish pharmaceutical market. Contributing to over 1,300 engineering projects for their customers every year, they are experts in planning and establishing new pharma facilities, including upgrading, expanding, and supporting existing operations. As their impressive portfolio continues to grow, they are looking for a talented Project Manager to support the success of their latest large scale capital investment project.


Responsibilities:

  • Implementing the client's strategy within the project, with a strong focus on design, schedule, quality, and cost.
  • Collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient cooperation within the project teams.
  • Promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the project team.
  • Leading the team in overcoming challenges, setting priorities, maintaining focus, and staying on track.
  • Developing team members in partnership with line management.
  • Providing regular status, progress, and risk reports to overall project management and the steering committee.
  • Providing management, leadership, and strategic direction for the project team.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards in all project management activities.
  • Developing and implementing project management best practices and conducting training sessions within the organization.

Background/Experience:
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in process or mechanical engineering; PMP certification or other project management certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a project manager.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate, inspire, and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results, manage priorities, and navigate complex organisational dynamics.
  • Extensive experience in leading large CAPEX projects.
  • Experience with fast-track projects where design and construction are executed in parallel.
  • Proficient in managing design, construction, and test & validation phases.
  • Experience from the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Enthusiastic about contributing to the success of impactful projects in the pharmaceutical engineering sector.
