Project Manager - Renewable Energy - Copenhagen - 12-Month Contract

We have an exciting new vacancy for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our client, a global provider of complex projects services in the renewable energies sector. Committed to helping their customers meet the demands of the global energy transition, our client needs your expertise for their current Offshore Wind project based in Copenhagen.


Responsibilities: 
  • Coordinate interfaces between Engineering, procurement, construction and the Project Management team and ensures effective transfer of information between all relevant parties. 
  • Participate in the planning and scheduling of the scope and provide input to the project technical document register. 
  •  Monitor and report progress, addresses shortfalls, assist in developing recovery plans where required and ensure plans are implemented. Provide feedback to Direct Supervisor and engineering discipline supervisors as and when required on the progress.
  • Ensure participation of the engineering and construction team members in project engineering reviews and assists in resolution of any issues arising out of the same. 
  • Attend project review meetings and ensure that associated reports are compiled and distributed accordingly. 
  • Ensure that interface issues between disciplines are addressed and seek management advice and assistance where required. 
  • Assist in the production of the project execution plan and prepare the coordination procedures for the project. 

Requirements: 
  • Experience of FEED/ Detailed Design and EPC or PMC projects and demonstrable experience in all project phases
  • Experience with directly managing vendors
  • Knowledge of other engineering disciplines.
  • Knowledge of international equipment specifications and codes.
  • Knowledge of standard international specifications and codes.
  • Knowledge of Safety and Quality procedures.
  • Typically, Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Chartered Status preferred.
  • Related experience working for Engineering/Client organisations in the Oil & Gas or manufacturing Industry.
