Project Manager - Chicago, United States - 12 Months Contract

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global pharmaceutical client based in the surroundings of Illinois. Due to a large capital investment and multiple projects on site, the client is looking for a Project Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities include:
  • Oversee all phases of the facility expansion, from initial planning through project delivery.
  • Manage budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure project efficiency.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Lead stakeholder, contractor, and vendor relations to support seamless operations.
  • Implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Track project progress, maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and industry standards. 
Key requirements include:
  • Proven experience in managing capital projects within the pharmaceutical or regulated industries, specifically projects exceeding $50M.
  • Strong hands-on Construction experience
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field; PMP certification preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
