Project Engineer - Michigan, USA - 18-Month Contract 

Do you want to work with an exciting company who are an established market leader within their unique and niche field? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineerwith experience to drive the delivery of a large new capital invest project on an initial 12-month contract. As the Project Engineer you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a new state of the art facility.


Responsibilities and Requirements: 
  • Report to the Engineering Design Lead.
  • Development of policies, plans, procedures, and reports for the project.
  • Coordination of the Engineering design interface across multiple A/E disciplines.
  • Automation Interface management between A&IT, Technical & Engineering Teams.
  • Supporting and coordinating detailed specifications/designs for the fabrication/ purchase of all plant and equipment across engineering disciplines.
  • Initiate and maintain an open relationship with the A/E team and the wider team to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Controlling overall project standards, specifications and requirements (e.g. Business Information Modelling, Computer Aided Design).
  • Draw from experience in relation to design and engineering solutions required to provide a world class design and construction installation.
  • Ensure that adequate resources are applied, within the cost constraints of the project, to achieve the project goals.
  • Monitoring that adequate internal and external resources are available to produce the engineering deliverables for the project in the sequence and priority required. Supporting the on-boarding process of new resources.
  • Co-ordinating activities and deliverables in the context of the project Phase Gate review process.
