Project Controller - Life Sciences - 12 months 

Are you a Project Controller looking for your next contract opportunity in Denmark? Quanta has the role for you!

Our client specialises in delivering pharma engineering solutions to the Danish pharmaceutical market. Contributing to over 1,300 engineering projects for their customers every year, they are experts in planning and establishing new pharma facilities, including upgrading, expanding, and supporting existing operations. As their impressive portfolio continues to grow, they are looking for a talented Project Controller to support the success of their latest large scale capital investment project.

Responsibilities:
  • Possess strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Cost / contracts / procurement / quantity surveyor background.
  • Have leadership skills facilitating a high-performing project controls team.
  • Have a nature of leading through others, and gain natural respect
  • Are able to create structure and handle several projects/tasks simultaneously
  • Are interested in working in an energetic environment and want to work with highly skilled colleagues
  • Are a team player that drives engagement in the team
  • Have what it takes to be Project Management's trusted advisor in any aspect of Cost, Time and Risk, and are able to foresee possible connections between these that can be a potential risk for the project.
  • Can constructively and proactively challenge, push back and take the ownership for deliver accurate re-ports
  • Support Management in leading the strategic intent by being a team player supporting continues improvement
Requirements:
  • Have experience as Cost Engineer, Civil Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Senior Cost Controller, Project Controls Manager.
  • Have an educational background (Bachelor) within Economics or as technical engineer.
  • Have +10 years of experience within Project Controls, ideally from the pharmaceutical, biotech, food or chemical industry
  • It is key that you have in-depth experience of Cost controlling procedures, forecasting and monthly reporting to customers
  • Have knowledge within Project Planning, Project Risk Management, Tender / Contract Management
  • Are interested in working in an energetic environment, value engagement, and want to work with highly skilled colleagues
  • Have very strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Can create structure and handle several projects simultaneously
  • Have experience with using PIMS, NAV, SAP, Excel, Power point
  • Are experienced in creating and using of Earned Value Management methodology
  • Are fluent in English, spoken and written. It is advantage to be fluent in Danish, although this is not a requirement.
