Project Control Lead - Italy, Milan - 12 Month Contract

Our global client with manufacturing facilities in Southern Ireland, is currently investing significantly in their manufacturing programme. This state-of-the-art facility houses high-technology and next-generation processes to produce OTC and Oral Care Products that are distributed throughout the Globe. As such, they are looking for a Project Control Lead to join their Milan based project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Understand baseline cost.
  • Distinguish between contingency and allowance.
  • Understand the importance of foreign exchange in principle.
  • Monitor contingency run-down.
  • Plan and action forecasts.
  • Familiar with contracts and change control.
  • Experience in project planning or scheduling within the Pharma/Biotech industry.
  • Can demonstrate capability in budget cost estimation, cost analysis, and change management.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 for scheduling and stakeholder coordination.
Desirable Experience:
  • Requires extensive project experience from start to handover within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Candidate should understand EBN value management.
  • No specific software mandatory, but experience and knowledge required to: interrogate sources of data, Manage budget submissions, Manage budget adjustments.
  • Scheduling – understand and read P6 + schedules.
