Process Engineering Leader – Life Sciences – Permanent – Sydney 

Are you looking for your next Process Engineering role? We have an incredibly exciting new requirement that might just be for you.

Our client, a biopharmaceutical company based in Sydney, are looking for a Process Engineering Leader for their current project. They are on a mission to ensure lifesaving therapeutic plasma drugs are accessible to all – and as their newest Process Engineering Leader you can help them get there.

Process Engineering Leader Responsibilities:
  • Leading strategic planning and development of activities for the companies process function.
  • Ability to plan, develop and execute multiple fast track projects.
  • Identifying training opportunities for internal resources on the latest guidelines and standards.
  • Critically assessing project risks and propose mitigations.
  • Project Manage the process improvements and ensure solutions are achieved on time, on budget and within scope.
  • Collaborating closely with senior leadership team in meeting organisational goals through establishing and reporting of department metrics.
  • Assist operation and optimisation of engineering technology, equipment and processes in a cGMP environment.
  • Support technology transfer; provide training and support to Production team and support project delivery
  • Analyse and Report progress and outcomes both internally and with collaborating organisations.
About you:
  • Tertiary qualifications in process engineering or related fields
  • 8 years + relevant work experience in manufacturing/biotech/pharmaceutical/medical/Industrial/food & beverage
  • Strong leader who can coach and develop a team
  • Experience in research, operations, or large-scale techniques in regulated products and GXP environments a benefit
  • Awareness of quality systems and the need to develop and follow SOPs, particularly in a cGMP environment.
