Process Engineer – Mid Level

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Process Engineer to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and technical support to front-line process engineers to enhance their knowledge and skills.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement by sharing best practices and lessons learned.
- Support the development and implementation of training programs related to warehouse process operations.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of warehouse process flows, equipment, and operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements aligned with business goals.
- Provide technical expertise in the design, operation, and troubleshooting of warehouse process equipment.
- Support commissioning and qualification (C&Q) activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with maintenance teams to optimize equipment reliability and performance.
- Manage engineering documentation, including process descriptions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and validation reports.
- Contribute to asset management strategies, ensuring optimal utilization and life-cycle management of warehouse equipment.
- Support the implementation of engineering business systems to streamline warehouse operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Extensive experience in API manufacturing unit operations or similar regulated environments.
- Strong technical expertise in warehouse process engineering, equipment design, and process optimization.
- Familiarity with GMP regulations and experience in supporting regulatory inspections and audits.
- Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers in process development and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in warehouse and logistics operations within GMP-regulated environments.
- Knowledge of automation and control systems used in warehouse processes.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to drive process improvements and change initiatives.
